"Winners dont do different things....they do things differently...." This sentiment echoes throughout Central India's biggest event-Aarohi. From a cool idea in the minds of some brilliant students to an extravaganza, Aarohi has come a long way. They say "He came, he saw and he conquered".

  About Aarohi, one can say

"She came she was assimilated as one of their own and she blossomed".

With this in mind, a group of enthusiastic students from V.N.I.T. began Aarohi - a festival, which symbolizes success, a phenomenon that lightened in the hearts of Nagpurians, a flame, which has been refueled by the burning passion of students of V.N.I.T. to excel. That was 1988, and now it is 2007-08.

Never ever in the history of Nagpur, has a youth festival earned so much popularity. Come winter, the V.N.I.T. auditorium is full of young and dynamic students. Aarohi has provided and continues to provide a platform for young budding talents to display their prowess in their chosen fields.

Since it's inception in 1988, Aarohi has gone from strength to strength, which nevertheless couldn't have happened without the uninhibited cooperation lent to us by the college authorities and sponsors alike. With not much funds available for disposal, the students struck upon the novel idea of soliciting sponsorships from big firms, computer institutes and business community of the city. And Aarohi has never failed its patrons. One has to see to believe the growing splendor, which marks the Aarohi events.

Started with the sole aim of fostering unity among students of all years and branches, Aarohi has added several feathers to its cap and now boasts of grandeur that others can only imagine. With more than 300 students from all years and branches, working in a hierarchical yet cordial atmosphere, Aarohi can proudly boast of the discovery of hidden personas and latent talents and churning out numerous successful, versatile and dynamic personalities.

It is the spirit of student community, the well-wishes of elders and sponsors and the wholehearted commitment of V.N.I.T. students which have added up to produce a truly magnificent spectacle in the form of Aarohi !!!!
